Day 13 - Ravenna to Andover

We awoke to a cool, calm, sunny day. Our 139 mile route took us up to and long Lake Erie. The weather became cloudy, windy and downright nippy up there.

We visited Punderson, Geneva and Pymatuning State Campgrounds. We had a little fun with some of the sights along the way.

Along the way ...
Geneva-on-the-Lake looked like a boardwalk lined with arcades. Unfortunately, we didn't see it at its best. It's Monday and off-season. The place was dead. It looked like it was closed.

We drove OH-531 from Geneva-on-the-Lake to Ashtabula, closely following the lake shore. There were lots of old fashioned lake cottages. It was like stepping back in time.

Barbara Stevenson is Carol's best friend from college days. Barbara is from Ashtabula, so Carol decided to share a few hometown sights with her buddy.

End of the day ...
We're camped in site 39 at Pymatuning. Our internet is working well.  Hopefully, we'll get caught up.
