Day 10 - Van Buren to Oregon

An overcast sky and chilling wind stayed with us all day. The temperature climbed into the low 50s.

We wandered 188 miles of the state and ended up in Oregon, just east of Toledo. Our discoveries were fun and exceptional.

P&S Trailer Service in Helena was our first stop. The owner inspected our flooring problem and offered a few remedies. We're scheduled to bring the trailer back up on July 7th to have the floor covering replaced.  Now for the fun discovery ... the owner knew Carol's parents from their time at Travelers Rest in Dade City, Florida. It's such a small world!

We saw a small wind farm near Bowling Green.
These generators had really big blades.

The route included stops at three state campgrounds. Harrison Lake and Maumee Bay were exceptional, the Mary Jane Thurston campground wasn't.

We're camped in site 150 at Maumee Bay tonight and will head to the northeast part of the state tomorrow.
