Day 2 - Oregonia (day 2)

We slept in this morning thanks to a gentle overnight drizzle.  It was so peaceful!

The evening overcast began to clear by mid-morning.  We got to enjoy sunshine, light breezes and temperatures in the low 70s for the rest of the day.  Hooray for spring weather.
Signs of spring in our campground.

We visited East Fork, Stonelick and Cowan Lake State Park today.  Our observations of each will be posted separately.  So far,  East Fork is our preferred campground.

This trip has provided some unexpected benefits.  We're getting to experience parts of the state we would never have seen if we weren't looking for the campgrounds.  The country, towns and cities we pass through have so many sights!  We also get to talk with state park employees and volunteers who are proud of their work and are happy to tell us about it.

We got back to our campground around 5:30.

Dinner consisted of hot dogs, baked beans, and veggies.

We're moving to Rocky Fork S.P. tomorrow.
